Two Islands: Conservation (Part 1 of 3) – Living Exposed Photography Project

This short focuses on the island of Ometepe in Nicaragua and presents the objectives of the Maderas Rainforest Conservancy. Dedicated to conservation, research, and education in Central America, the Maderas Rainforest Conservancy is a non-profit organization which supports a wide variety of courses and projects. With a focus on the Conservancy's conservation goals, it also highlights illicit slash-and-burn activity continually taking place on the slopes of the Maderas volcano.
