On our family trip down to Nicaragua we had one of those amazing days that you usually only dream about. I had super fun surf, my kids both caught their first waves (ages 4 and 11 months). And we happened to be there for the release of some adorable baby turtles.

I'm putting a contest jersey back on in a couple weeks to represent my adopted country of Nicaragua in the ALAS contest. I really hope the waves look something like they did the last few days. It's not always this awesome, but we're stoked when it is!
