Trip to Nicaragua [01:29]
My Buddy John and I took a week long trip to Nicaragua. We met up with two righteous dudes-Kevin and Tom-and we let them shadow us for the week. We had planned to stay near San Juan del Sur for two nights and then bushwhack up the coast but the latter never happened. Local Beer, Surfing Natural, Pure Fun

NICARAGUA: LAS ISLETAS [01:47]
riprese di Marco Petruzzelli The islets of Granada, are located in Lake Nicaragua, just southeast of the city of Granada in Nicaragua. The islets are a group of over 360 small islands and are scattered about the Asese peninsula. The 365 islets are of volcanic origin,[1] they were formed when the Mombacho volcano blew most of its cone into the lake over 20000 years ago, thereby creating the archipelago. Most of islets are covered with unusual vegetation, and are rich with bird life. Many of the islets are occupied. Some are privately owned and hold homes or vacation houses. There are facilities for the residents and for tourists. Hotels and shops are established on some of the islets, and boating tours are available.

San Juan del Sur is a coastal town on the Pacific Ocean, in south-west Nicaragua. The town is a popular tourist location because of its many nearby and spectacular beaches. San Juan del Sur is also popular among surfers and is a vacation spot for many Nicaraguan families and foreign tourists. It really is a good, unspoiled alternative to Costa Rica. The surf is, however, not in San Juan del Sur itself the waves are simply not big enough in town. We went to Madera beach about 10 km north of San Juan del Sur to surf. Madera beach is an incredibly beautiful and peaceful beach and when you dont surf you can suntan and go for long walks. Amazing. This video gives you an idea about why Madera beach have become so popular it simply is a stunning place!!
