Hotel Omaja pool contruction progress [00:51]
A video of the contractors, Piscinas Pacificas, mixing concrete for the new swimming pool with jacuzzi at the hotel La Omaja in Ometepe Nicaragua. Note it was 95 degrees this day with around 75% humidity. The pouring has to be done all at once, so they worked from approximately 6 am to 2 pm at this pace! And that's just the pool floor, next come the walls.

Drew Estate Cigar Safari Part 34: Quality Control - Achieving Consistency [07:45]
In this video filmed at the Drew Estate Cigar Factory in Esteli Nicaragua, Jonathan Drew explains the Drew Estate quality control process. He discusses how they achieve consistency in the draw and blend. This involves using the human element to do quality control checks. Consistency is achieved by using the right proportions of tobacco and properly bunching a cigar. For consistent draws, Drew Estate does not rely on a draw test machine. Instead the positioning of the tobaccos properly will prevent plugging. Drew demonstrates this through showing this process with newspapers playing the role of tobacco.
