riprese di Marco Petruzzelli The islets of Granada, are located in Lake Nicaragua, just southeast of the city of Granada in Nicaragua. The islets are a group of over 360 small islands and are scattered about the Asese peninsula. The 365 islets are of volcanic origin,[1] they were formed when the Mombacho volcano blew most of its cone into the lake over 20000 years ago, thereby creating the archipelago. Most of islets are covered with unusual vegetation, and are rich with bird life. Many of the islets are occupied. Some are privately owned and hold homes or vacation houses. There are facilities for the residents and for tourists. Hotels and shops are established on some of the islets, and boating tours are available. Con esse potrete percorrere gli stretti canali che separano le isole e ammirare una fortificazione che risale al secolo XIX che sorge sull'isola di San Pablo e una colonia di scimmie che abita un piccolo isolotto che, incuriosite dall'arrivo della lancia, si avvivinano alla riva. Seacoast Student Mission Trip to Nicaragua [04:18]
For 10 days, 10 students and 3 leaders traveled to Nicaragua to bring the Good News. For the first 5 days we were paired up with someone else from the team and got to live in host family homes! The other 3 days we put on a retreat for the youth at a camp! God is good, Good is amazing!

In Nicaragua if you have a truck you have a 20 person vehicle. If you have a truck in Nicaragua you pick up passengers. If you ride in the back you hold on. If you ride in the back sunburn happens so wear sunscreen. There are bars all around the back of the truck we were in as well as a roll bar affair where we could hold on and stand up.

La Casita in Nicaragua [00:36]
August 8, 2008 This is your view from your table at a delightful little restaurant in Esteli, Nicaragua. La Casita, a Nicaraguan restaurant that serves home made yogurt, whole wheat bread, feta cheese, honey, humus and muesli is a short, inexpensive cab ride just on the outskirts of Esteli. Its was started by an NGO who was telling people about how to start their own business and then hit on the idea of starting a restaurant that demonstrates the principle. We fed 5 people one Sunday night for between $5 and 10 for all of us. They have delightful little wooden puzzles, jams, cards with photos on them and is a very charming little place. It is a must see if in Esteli.
