Ep 23 Traveling With Dogs Internationally - How & What To Do? - Veterinarian Visit [09:40]
Our dogs Bailey & Roxy will be traveling with us around the world. That adds another layer of complexity and planning but it is well worth it. We will be initially driving to Guatemala through Mexico, then we'll be staying the Central American countries (Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Panama) We had to visit their veterinarian to get current on their vaccinations, get their microchips (that's for our trip to the European Union next year) and we got the export import forms. Bailey & Roxy were real troopers and we're on the way to finalizing all the requirements. They will join our white collar vagabond lifestyle!

Bike week in San Juan del Sur, Nicaragua. [01:23]
Word on the street was that the Hells Angels were rolling into town in San Juan del Sur, Nicaragua for a bike rally. Lots of men in military uniforms started to mysteriously arrive in this small seaside town armed with AK-47s. About midday the distinct sound of big bore Harleys rumbling through the streets started to drown out the usual daily sounds. Black leather and steel screamed through the side streets (as if to say this is our town tonight.) Slowly the bars filled up on the main drag and the AC/DC cover band prepared for the wild night. Id love to tell you a story of violence as the Hells Angels set the town a fire as they rode out the next day, but it was just Sex, Drugs and Rock and Roll. I never did see a Hells Angels emblem from the USA, but there seems to be a group wearing a distinct skull logo from Costa Rica. The Hells Angels have a long history and their past still provokes the fear of violence.
