The Selva Negra Resort, Nicaragua [03:08]
The Selva Negra Resort in Nicaragua is about two hours' drive north of Managua. It is surely one of the most beautiful places in Nicaragua. Should you choose to stay here, there's a dormitory, hotel rooms along the peaceful lake and little cottages nestled in the abundant tropical flora of this ecolodge resort. La biosfera Jinotega, Nicaragua cloud forest - batcave - part 2 [06:11]
Heres the 2nd part of the cloud forest up in the highlands of Northern Nicaragua. All filmed on or near the property of La Biosfera retreat. Located just 2km south of Jinotega. If taking the bus from Esteli or anywhere further north you'll arrive at the Cotran Norte Terminal. You'll need to take a quick taxi to Cotran Sur Terminal and catch A Matagalpa bus paying only 7 cordabas, then tell the driver to let you off at La Biosfera. you can't miss the sign.

A taxi ride in Puerto Cabezas [02:24]
This is video footage from a taxi ride through Puerto Cabezas, Nicaragua. We were there on a service trip to build a school building and needed to take a taxi to and from our hostel to the site. If you thought driving through NYC was a crazy ride, you have obviously never been to Puerto Cabezas! This footage is from a single ride, but each was a unique experience we will treasure. And unlike the states, a taxi ride to the site (10 minute drive across town) cost us 10-15 cordobas for squeezing 4-5 of us in each taxi. 20 cordobas is the equivalent of USD $1 so it cost us approximately $1 to travel ROUNDTRIP!
