Fair to Farmer Direct I Nicaraguan Students [04:00]
We're backing Nicaragua's bright young coffee kids. Coffee education is at the heart of Salt Spring Coffee, only this time we're not talking about cupping notes and varietals -- it's the education of Nicaragua's coffee kids that's got our attention. In Nicaragua families work to live so it's not uncommon for children to start work at a very young age to earn added income for the family, leaving little time for school. This very reality is what makes this group of bright young coffee farm kids so remarkable. Each has been accepted to Universidad Centroamericana (UCA) in Managua, Nicaragua's capital city. Only the cost of getting a child to Managua is out of reach for a lot of coffee families. It's not uncommon for the average coffee family to experience three-month stretches where their financial resources are limited because of a gap between the coffee growing season and the industry's buying cycle. Needless to say, when putting food on the table year-round is a challenge, sending a child away to university is just not possible. But we no longer want that to be the case. Through Fair to Farmer Direct, our goal is to raise the funds to send prospective students to the Universidad Centroamericana (UCA) to complete their chosen post-secondary degrees. And we want your help. Your commitment and contribution to these kids will give them a chance to make their own future, and carve out a new path for a generation of coffee kids in Nicaragua.

En la Colonia Maestro Gabriel inicio la campaña oficial de la candidatura del comandante hermano compañero presidente corrumpto Daniel Ortega el cual se va robar las eleciones en Noviembre, Habitantes del barrio colonia maestro gabriel se reunieron en la Cancha de Futbol y Baloncesto recien construida por el gobierno para celebrar el inicio de la candidatura de Daniel Ortega, Lo mas extraño es que inican la fiesta con musica America de Michael Jackson y un Niño imitando los pasos de la cancion Billie Jean. Pues yo pensaba que Los Sandinistas no quieren a Los Americanos, Supuestamente los Sandinistas el FSLN son comunistas de izquierda desde la revoluion en 1979, durante la decada de los 80s Nicaragua sufrio en regimen dictatorial por parte del FSLN, Odiaban y no querian a Los Americanos. Despues Imitan bailes tipicos nicaraguenses Como Managua Linda Managua.

Manejando en la carretera de Rio Blanco a Unicuas Nicaragua, Parte de la carretera a ese sector esta paimentada pero en otros sectores la cerretera esta destruida. Estamos esperando que el gobierno del comandante hermano compañero presidente construya la carretera como lo habia prometido. el viaje dura aproximadamente 45 minutos a una hora debido a la carretera en malas condiciones. precisamente este sector en el video esta paimentado, mientras manejabamos ibamos escuchando Hotel California del grupo los Eagles en la transmision de la radio. Escuchando Musica Americana en Rio Blanco Unicuas nicaragua.
