Nicaragua Restaurant Guide
No matter where you go in Nicaragua, you will need to eat. Nicaragua has a fine number of restaurants and cafes where you can satisfy your appetite. Some restaurants in Nicaragua feature spectacular views. Other Nicaraguan restaurants focus on local cuisine. There is something for everyone and you will usually be able to find a food that suits your specific eating habits. Nicaraguan gastronomy is somewhat different from most parts of the world, but it is all the more wonderful for it. We have provided a Nicaragua restaurant Guide below to help get you started.
Managua
Ache – serves Cuban food at a reasonable rate. Located at Donde fue la Vicky, you will find their food delicious!
Bar-Restaurante El Torito – Situated in Carretera a Masava, this lovely little bar serves great Mexican food.
Chop Suey – This great restaurant serves delicious Chinese food at average prices. You can find it at De la Shell Centro America 1/2 cuadra al lago.
Corinto
Ali Baba – Situated at Detras de la Alcaldia in Costa Azul, Ali Baba serves a variety of scrumptious food at fairly low prices.
Costa Azul – This great seafood restaurant can be found at Texaco El Faro, 6 cuadras al Sur.
Big and Little Corn Island
Anastasia’s on the Sea – Situated behind the Bayside hotel on Big Corn Island, this restaurant serves great Nicaraguan food at a reasonable price.
Barra Intel Habana Libre – A great little restaurant on Pelican Beach which specializes in Cuban food.
Granada
Asia Latina Bar-Restaurant-Lounge – Located in del Parque Central on Calle La Libertad, this great business offers superb Asian food at a reasonable price.
Café Don Simon – Situated on Costado oeste del parquet central in Granada, this is a great little coffee shop with reasonable rates.
Café DecArte – A great restaurant café serving a variety of international flavors. You can find it at Calle la Calzada, 1 cuadra al este del parque.
Café Nuit – Located at De la Piedra bocona, 1/2 cuadra al oeste Calle La Libertad, the café serves a variety of foods at reasonable prices.
San Juan del Sur
Bar y Restaurante El Velero – a seafood restaurant with reasonable prices, you can find this restaurant at Del hotel Estrella, 10 vrs al norte.
Chinandega
Centro de Convenciones de Occidente Restaurante Antonche – Located at De Casa Pellas, 1 cuadra abajo, 1 cuadra al sur, this restaurant serves a variety of food for standard prices.
Leon
Divino Castigo – Located at Frente a la mercantile, this low cost restaurant serves great Nicaraguan food.
