The food and ambiance is great at Mi Viejo Ranchito in Ticuantepe (Km. 17.5 Carretera Masaya) a little outside of Managua. Traditional food, affordable, live music and karaoke (depends on the night). My other favorite place is Casa de Cafe in Managua in the Robles neighborhood. They have Sunday brunch buffet and great food (you have to ask about the nacatamalitos with coffee and bread - it's like $3)

Bar y Restaurante El Timon en San Juan Del Sur, great service, food quality was excellent....Try it!

I'm from corinto and ali baba is a low class restaurant ,the ambience is not for a family with kid ,i would not recommend this restaurant.
