CA-4 visa regulation
Hello,
I have some doubts about CA-4 visa regulation. I will travel in CA region (Costa Rica, Nicaragua, El Salvador, Guatemala and Honduras). I’m from Serbia and I don’t need visa for Costa Rica, but I need for other 4 countries. My Itinerary is: Costa Rica --> Nicaragua --> El Salvador --> Guatemala --> Honduras --> Nicaragua --> Costa Rica. I will have 2 entries in Nicaragua, and 1 entry in El Salvador, Guatemala and Honduras (I do not count Costa Rica because I don’t need visa for this country). In Central America I will travel over land all the time. My friend told me that I could get CA-4 visa only in one of CA-4 countries (Nicaragua, El Salvador, Guatemala and Honduras), but not in any other country. In my case, this would mean: when I arrive in Costa Rica I will have to take visa for Nicaragua, in Nicaragua embassy in San Jose. Once I get in Nicaragua I will have to go in El Salvador embassy in Nicaragua to take CA-4 visa, which would allow me to travel in Guatemala and Honduras. So, basically my question is: is this true? Or could I take CA-4 multi visa (because of 2 entrances in Nicaragua) in Costa Rica? Could I obtain CA-4 visa in country that is NOT part of the CA-4 (in this case Costa Rica)? Thank you in advance. |
