help me find a cheap room in San Juan del Sur

i am a surfer traveling to sjds in the summer, probably crossing the border from costa rica, and I want to find a place in sjds for really cheap that i can stay and surf near. I plan on staying for a long time, probably about a month, and i want to find a good spot that would end up costing less than $5 a day (with good surf nearby). I've stayed in cheap $5 rooms in costa so i know what conditions to expect, but i hope to find cheaper rooms in nica. If you know the good spots for surfers please share your info. is it true that the costs are much less than costa?
