I am going to be visiting from the US in Feb 10-15th. What should I do for fun?

Where is the cheapest place to stay in Managua?

What is there to do for fun? Should I rent a car?

Advise me please. I want an insider to tell me what to do for fun.

If you are only going to be in Nic for 5 days I strongly recomend you visit Granada, its a world apart, safer, more beautiful, and just nicer. You wont be missing much. There are lots of nice places to rent rooms - just tons - for any price range, prefernce, etc. Dont rent a car, there is no need, taxis are the way to go, as far as for fun, I hope you like to dance, or the beach, a visit to las isletas in Granada is just as good or better than the ocean, but make sure to get off and stay for a while at one of the islands instead of cruising past, good luck, chau

So where would I find out how to rent a private room. How is the security?

If you are going to stay in Granada I can tell many hotels or lodgings and the security is almost 100%. But in Managua it is a little more dangerous and iffy. You can just show up and there are always places with vacancies. In Granada I would recomend the Hotel Real de Granada but hotels are just all over the place. Im finally moving permanantly down there in four weeks so I can see for you if you like, what is your price range, etc.

Bueno, y que lo que te pasa a vos con Managua, cuando uno arriva a Managua esta arrivando a Nicaragua incluyendo Granada, no lo confundas con tu seguridad, el se puede ir a chequear el website del Instituto Nicaraguense de Turismo

Hoteles y Posadas y mira que es lo que mas te conviene, yo he ido ultimamente muy seguido, y la vida Nocturna esta buena en Managua, te recomiendo que te rentes un carro si es que podes te vas a mover mejor, en cuanto a Granada es una ciudad donde podes ir a joder el dia y te regresas en la noche a Bacanalear en Managua, todos los granadinos vienen a Managua a bacanalear, acordate que Nic, es un pais chico y las distancias no son como aqui, Granada es practicamente parte del area Metropilitana de Managua son solo 45 minutos. Aqui esta este otro sitio de Nicaragua alli hay muchos sitios de interes, mira a ver que lo te conviene, en Diciembre yo voy para Nicaragua y si miro algo nuevo hay te aviso.
