Question
Hi. My son, Brian, is going to Nicaragua in August. His friend will be volunteering at a children's home (NPH) on Ometepe. Brian can't stay at the children's home and will need to find housing on the island near the children's home. How would he go about finding a place to live? He will be there about a year.

Please visit http://darrineileen.50megs.com. This couple divides their time between California and Ometepe. Their email is darrieneileen@netscape.net. Try them. If anyone knows the local situation I am sure they would. John
