Question

I am planning a vacation in February, and am interested in the Barcelo Playa Montelimar. Has anyone visited this resort? What is it like? How are the beaches, the food, etc? I have never been to Nicaragua before, but have visited Costa Rica. What are the differences? Is it a safe country to visit.

I've been there, my advise is: get ready to party!!!! don't eat too much in the afternoons so you can be part of the games later on at night, they involve eating and running from chair to chair, it's a lot of fun...

i forgot to tell you that Nicaragua is not a dangerous country anymore, so my friend Relax, kick back, and put on your seat belt, you have nothing to worry about, unless you don't know how to swimmm, anyway, they have swiming clases with teachers for men and women, if you know what i mean, it's pretty cool, you don't have any idea how jealous i am!!!!

Pues what a pena with you. Montelima is not what it used to ser. Ultimadamente a cambiado drasticamente, the food is not as fresh or apealing as they used to be. Las toallas y camas are bad. Practicamente every thing esta malo. Now I guess is to late para recomendarte el nuevo Resort en San Juan de el Sur. Now that's going to be a resort...it will be open in November de el current year 2000. A todos mis amigos de Nicaragua.com Montelimar pasa a la Historia.

Be advised this document has been revised 09/16/2000© as the result of mi visita al Resort.

I don't do resorts, but traveled alone into
the remote parts of Costa Rica and Nicaragua.
Don't go to Bluefields. Anywhere in Central
America can be dangerous. Keep your eyes open, be respectful, stay off the roads at
night, behave properly and politely - remember you are a guest - be well-mannered to your hosts, humble and fair. That will avoid a lot of problems. Once people know
you are respectful, they will respect you and sometimes watch out for you when you are at risk of making a mistake. Have a good time. It's a great, great country with an
interesting history and noble people.
