Hello Alexi:

Glad to hear that you are going to visit your roots again.
Womderful, well since you are a Nicaraguense I'll give you the schedule in order for you to do this yourself without a tour Operator/

I need to know some other things as well like:
What time will you be arriving in Managua:
How many are you.
the Itinerary that you would like is limited too:
Bluefields, Corn Island and Puerto Cabezas?

Okay here we go.......

Make reservations on Atlantic Air: reservaciones@atlanticairlines.com.ni
web site: http://www.atlanticairlines.com.ni/
Buy an Managua-Bluelields-Corn Island-Managua ticket from them.
When you arrive in Bluefields take a taxi, 10 C$ to the Hotel Tia Irene: http://www.caske2000.org/nicaragua/uraccan.htm and check in, ask for Nydia Taylor
and you'll find lots of stuff to do while your there. Don't bother getting a room with a TV, it costs more and you will not be using it. A taxi ride anywhere in Bluefields cost 5Cords.except the airport which is 10. (Take a lot of one dollar bills. They love it and they are always looking for dollars there.)
Before heading off to Corn Island, see if you can go to Laguna de Perlas for a day or two
its only a 7 dollar Panga ride , Round trip, Ask Nidia to show you were the pier is and ask for the panga that is scheduled to leave next, 45 mins, later you'll be there.
When you arrive go to Hotelito Casa Blanca, about 5 blocks inland from the pier, its the safest and cleanest place around. Ask for Dell, the Owner, she is wonderful and there is a Night Club next door to go dancing. Dell's place costs 10 dollars a night.
Go to the pier again and head for a place called "First stop" a bar, ask for Mr. Downs, he can show you were you guys can rent a guided boat to go visit the Pearl cayes. Dell can tell you that too.

Bluefield/Corn Island:
Back to the airport to catch the flight that is arriving from Managua heading for Corn Island.
you'll arrive in 25 mins. When you arrive, ask them to point you to Le Paradiso owner and Operated by two Canadians. Gino Mandanice will most likely be there. (Careful he's a bit of a Ladies man) Go to the Docks or ask Gino when the scheduled Panga departs for Little Corn Island. Go for a day or spend the night at Hotel Iguana, http://www.casaiguana.net/
Grant id the owner, a Gringo that moved there many years ago.
Have fun, you can take a tour of Corn Island by taxi and you can take a tour of little Corn Island by walking. Ask Grant for recommendation on snorkeling and other neat stuff to do.

Puerto Cabezas:
Leave Corn Island on the First flight in order to get to Managua by noon and book the First flight to Puerto Cabezas on Atlantic. (There is another airline but I hate those little planes they use. Atlantic is much safer and larger. have you camera ready to take some Pictures during the flight.

Managua-Puerto-Managua:
When you arrive you will have a few choices on where to stay. take a taxi ride and tell them to tour you around town and show you the different little hotels they have available. When you make up you mind, let them drop you off in town, have a cold drink, talk to the people and get an informed choice on where to stay. There are a few on main street and a couple by the seashore.
Try to go visit Tuapi...about 24 miles north of Puerto Cabezas.
