Cool

Hi there,
My husband and I are planning a month long trip to Nicaragua in January 2001. We are finding it difficult to find good tourist information about the country. Can anyone suggest any publications or web sites that have good information for travellers? Also, is there a Nicaraguan tourist board that we can write to for more information?
Thank you for any help you can give us.

I almost forgot to mention that you can also find publications at your local Barnes & Noble or Borders bookstores...TRy the LET"S GO tourist series...either on Central America or Nicaragua...that is also helpful.

I don't have the address for the Minister of Tourism, butI think I have the phone number.

011-505-226652
or
011-505-226618 (fax)
They have a bimonthly guide to Nicaragua called "Guia Facil Nicaragua"

Can also try
www.intur.gob.ni

That's the Ministry of Tourism, (but shouldn't expect mucho from them).
