Question

I AM NICARAGUAN RESIDING IN CANADA,I AM PRESENTLY WORKING IN THE TRAVEL AND TOURISM
FIELD AND AS PART OF MY JOB I HAVE VISITED
MANY COUNTRIES WITH BEATIFUL BEACHES AND
RESORTS AND I AM CONVINCED THAT MY COUNTRY
HAS WHAT IT TAKES TO USE, IT'S BEAUTY AS A
RESOURCE FOR GREAT TOURISM, SO I ASK MY SELF
WHY THIS GOVERMENT IT IS NOT USING ENOUGH ADVERTISING TO PROMOTE IT, AND ALSO WHAT
POSIBILITIES ARE THERE FOR PEOPLE LIKE ME
WHO WOULD LIKE
IF I COULD GO BACK TO MY COUNTRY AND BE
EMPLOYED IN THAT FIELD WITH OPORTUNITIES TO
EARN ENOUGH MONEY TO HAVE A GOOD LIVING,AND
IF THERE ARE OPORTUNITIES WHY NOT LET US KNOW
TROUGH THIS SITE.
THANK YOU

Post you want to know why?

It's because the governments are too busy stealing from the people to even think about tourism. Another reason is that Nicaragua has the reputation around the world of being a war torn country that is stained with blood of innocent people. It's a sad reality but, when you ask someone(not nicaraguan) about Nicaragua and the first things that comes out of their mouths are "Sandinistas" and "Contras". I believe that we must remove the prejudice beliefs of the foreigners and than, we can show Nicaragua to the world. It requires much investing from foreign businesses, but slowly it can become a world class tourist destination. Thank you, and don't forget to vote for me in the November election. "Together we can make a difference" Just joking. Maybe once i finish my studies i will persue a career in politics in Nic. Who knows, i may even turn things around for my country in the future. I am only 22 and very ambiscious!

Talking Thank you Sabrina!

You don't know how much i dream of becoming the leader in Nicaragua one day, and finally give back to the people that have suffered and sacificed themselfs for a better living or even simple justice. I think that by studying abroad, it will give me a different perspective and more oppurtunities to become a leader back home.

Thumbs up Your'e right Carlitos!!

Our country is lacking of true leaders..Honest, sincere, hard working people who share a common goal; to re-build a trajedy stricken country like Nicaragua. Every man who aspires that position has thus far been filled with empty promises. We yern for an anjel to come down and deliver us from the bottom of the barrell..(sort of speak) That day my friend I believe is not too far but, we must be focused and embark on the journey without fear. We must also be courageous and together we shall see a brighter day!!!!!

Thumbs up I agree with all of u!!!

For starters,I am also interested in working in the tourism field but my future is uncertain so I will wait too see what happens!I will be visiting my country in March and I am planning an awsome trip.I would to go to Bluefields,Corn Island and take as many pictures as possible. Also visit and practicaly take notes and see how much potential our country does have.By what I have read so far in this web-site,it seems like my country's beauty is underestimated!!!
I'm sure you all agree on that one I don't know where u guys live but I'm sure your doing your best to sell Nicaragua to your friends and co-workers.I know that when I come back I will sell what ever I can with my pictures. If you guys do your part and I do my part here in Montreal(Canada),I think one day Nicaragua will be filled with more hope than poverty!!!As for me,I'm still planning my trip and enjoy reading your comments...
take care and God Bless all of you!!

Juan-Carlos
