Waslala in July

We are planning to go to Waslala with a medical team in July. When we were there two years ago there was some danger of bandits on the highway. What is the current situation? Will we need mosquito netting? Malaria meds?

Be prepared for anything, please take some mosquito repelants and nets to sleep at night and enjoy the jungles of Nicaragua

I just retuned from Puerto Cabezas, I was there during the Easter week. (Semana Santa) There was no bugs eating me up as it is the dry season but not for long.
We went hunting and Fishing all around Puerto, Waspan and Bismuna Tara.

Soon the rains will begin so better be prepared. I filmed Puerto Cabezas completely and due to the festivaties at the beach (Buccan) I must have gotten 70% of the townfolk. Took a lot of footage from the plane as well.

There are some many things to be done to promote Tourism of all sorts. There is acommodation for over 200 folks at one time and they are building another 80 bed hotel with three stories.

Thank you for coming and helping us out. If you need logistics on tranportation of medical equipment, please advise and we will give you a hand. We installed the Decompression Chamber in Puerto five years ago and has been saving lives for over 4.

We start the hunting and fishing season there next month. We hope to promote the area as a hunting and Fishing Adventure destination.
