Born in Granada and sporting a record of 23-3-1 (21KOs) Ricardo Mayorga is challenging Andrew "Sixheads" Lewis of Guyana for the WBA welterweight championship belt. The first fight ended in a no-contest in the second round because of cuts on Andrew's eyes resulting from a headbut. But from all indications, Ricardo Mayorga was winning the fight. Watch tonight at 10PM Eastern on Showtime to see if Nicaragua can get its fifth boxing champion in its history.

Ricardo Mayorga KO'd Andrew Lewis in the 5th round to with the WBA world welterweight championship.

me gusta saber que un nica nos represente pero si sigue peleando asi puede perder contra un boxer diciplinado.
