Nicaragua-U.S. Friendsip Project

Dear Nicaragua friends,

I am interested in creating a realistic and meaningful exchange program between my community of Syosset (Long Island, N.Y., USA), population, 30,000, and a Nicaraguan community of similar size. To begin, and if
a plan yet to be developed is considered, planning committees must be organized in both communities. If anyone is interested in exploring the possibilities and in helping to create a better world by communication among people of different cultures, please contact me (peopamb@cs.com).

I think is a good Idea, but i have a question, do we have to be in Nicaragua to be part of this Commitees?

Although we are at an early phase of investigating if there is interest, I would think that persons involved should be in the two communities which will be involved. If plans dictate otherwise, I will be sure to let you know.
