Dear Friends of Nicaragua, especially the children in this case. We have been quietly working to construct a 200 kid Orphanage that is almost completed. We built it on 3 Mansanas of donated land up in the mountain near Managua called El Crucero, 34 Kms away from the Capitol. The project is almost complete and is now housing 125 kids, they have Class rooms and bedrooms, playground and computer room with ten donated computers. I believe we have done such a good job in seeing the construction costs stay at bay, The orphanage is painted in lively bright colors and the dinning area and kitchen is big with lots of windows and what remains to be built is the Nuns personal quarters. (They are sleeping with the kids at the moment)

Since we did such a good job building this one, we were granted by another individual 40 mansanas (about 38 acres) about 3 km away in the same town. We call it CUIDADELLA and is destined in being the largest most complete facility for Orphans and battered mothers in Central America. We want to foster adoptions in a country that doe's not allow them. Since we want to take in as many kids that the country provides us, we need to make sure some of these kids have the opportunity of being adopted, using the same rigorous model of acceptance for the parents to be that are inforced in the US.

We want you to join us in Cuidadella and help in constructing another series of Building (wooden class rooms and Church, dining areas and a nuns retreat, Guest housing for those of you that will be visiting throughout the year, we hope!. The workers we have are all nuns and are working and helping us just for the love of God. We want to make them comfortable and teach them better methods of teaching the kids we bring in so they learn a better way of life. The age range is from New born to 17.

So far we have only been excepting girls and very little boys. We want to make CUIDADELLA a model for Central America to show the Governments that good things can be done without to much money. The clinic that will be put in place will be Private.. catering to all the kids and the community around them. It will be free for those whom cannot pay, but there will be normal charges for those who can. Profits being put pack into the Orphanage and other more expensive projects will be constructed. Vocational and farming schools, Mechanics, sewing, housekeeping. The clinic will be funded by private US doctors which will be visiting all year. Setting us classes for their students to practice hands on.

But we need your help. Please contact me and I will talk to you about what has been done and what our dreams are. We encourage Churches around the world to contribute and visit us. Adopt us, if you will. We are here to show you that a small group of private individuals can accomplish great things. My information and contact is below.

We are presently building a web page and will be showing the world our progress.

God Bless you all and I hope you write us.

Angry Baby selling from your orphanage

New laws have recently been passed regarding the trafficking of children and women. Organizations that are designed buy children from poor families for resale to wealthy American couples under the guise of being "ophanages" and providing help for "abused women" are the targets of investigations by many Central American governments. Your business seems to fall into that category. Your information has been forwarded to the Nicaraguan and United States governments.

True "orphanages" are to provide homes for children and educational services so that those children will be able to enter the societies that they were born into. It appears from your comments "houses each one with capacity for 10 children between 1 and 5 years," "10 houses for unmarried mothers" and "Since we want to take in as many kids that the country provides us, we need to make sure some of these kids have the opportunity of being adopted, using the same rigorous model of acceptance for the parents to be that are inforced in the US." that you are running nothing more than a baby selling operation. Even Guatamala is beginning to shut down these type of operations.

The extent that adults will exploit children is sad. The luxuries for the administrative staff as listed in your description clearly indicate that no one working there intends to live in poverty. Why not just use your slick salesmanship skills in a legitimate commercial operation instead of exploiting the poor?

Very good advise

Anyone can slander persons with a note like this "Animnal" has sent.
Please note that they Gives no information about Themself
Barks out a message that is full of hate.
Undeserving of a rely------------
This Ophanage is partly sponsored by the Nicaragua Government, the private sector and ONG. This is a fact.
Anyone can visit and learn for themselves what a caring
place it really is. Nicaragua has been the hardest country to
Adopt from and proceedures are made that way to keep those
whom want to traffic in kids at bay. We are a poor country
but have pricipals.
I am sorry I had to post this but remaining silant to this idiot would seem to foster guilt.
Best regards to the group

Angry

I left no information about myself because my post was not about me, it was about you. My message has the purpose of raising awareness about the underlying motivation for your business. If you are not in the business of selling babies to people in the United States then you have nothing to worry about.

I hope that many people will visit your orphanage, AND I hope that you are not running a baby selling operation. The description you gave of the orphanage seems to indicate that you are. When you specifically, at the beginning of your operations, provide homes solely for children under the age of five, EXCLUDING older children who are at higher risk of abuse, then it sure looks like you are in the baby marketing business.

You can call me all the names you want; it will not change the truth. Encouraging poor mothers to sell their children is no solution to the problems of Nicaragua. There is no doubt in my mind that you are compensating these women for giving birth. That can only encourage them to continue such behavior.

If you chose to discontinue your activities related to foreign adoptions I would gladly support your facility.

One more answer...

...as you are beginning to be a pain.....
Just scanning over the news in Central America and heading what others are doing with kids does not mean everyone is.
Our kids are raised until they are 18 and returned back into society other are adopted by Nicaraguans.

Please if you are going to foster negativity, please do your homework....Idiot....

Post Homework

I would not think everyone would be doing it. Just seems that you sell anything, thats all. Your not a builder but you sell houses to build. You sell wind mills but you are not a contractor in that industry. You sell Islands and land on the Caribbean coast but don't own anything in Nicaragua. You claimed to be from the Atlantic people but you were not born there and are not of Indian people. Caterina was a big project with the Mayor but He has never heard of you. After contacting your Priest friend about all the medical supplies and Free Estes trucking you claimed to be doing they nor he had any idea of this deal. In fact, they never hear from you at all.
Maybe that when Peter Tsokos came to Nicaragua it was you in fact to start that deal and develop the idea of "Advising " the local people. Isn't that true? He also lives just up the street from you. Last year or so you were nearly arrested on Corn Island over bad business dealings. The Time share on the Pacific side of Nicaragua you were trying to sell never opened and is now closed.

Enough homework or should we do some extra credit?
