Vedas articulate that from zero came a shuddering recognized as the "Pranava" or the echo 'AUM'. Commencing this echo there came into view five symbolic instruments of formation of universes. These were recognized as the Five "Tan matras". Beginning the Tanmatras came five elemental forces described Space and Time, ambiance, Light, Fire, Liquids, and finally the solidification of all. The addition of these forces results in formation of the universes, as we know it now.

It is an acknowledged technical truth that still the universes are time bound. The hypothesis of relativity (so called for the reason that all essentials are linked to time) speaks of speed in relation to time. India Astrological Vedas converse time as the restrictive Factor for all creation. Every thing is time bound.

The Vedic soothsayers who are acknowledged as the Rishi's, Maha Rishi's, Brahma Rishi's and Deva Rishi's according to their knowledge of time and formation, have associated "Time " in relation to the age of Brahma the mediator of formation. His age is 100 years in a particular time scale.

Astrology is a division of veda therefore it is recognized as vedanga (anga means limb). We call it vedic astrology for the reason that 'it is based on time schedules predetermined in vedas according to yogic meditational interpretation of the graha's in motion around the sun in relation to the earth and its motions".
