Did you see where Billy Graham's daughter was being interviewed on the
>Early
>Show a few days ago about the September 11th terrorist attack and Jane
>Clayson asked her "How could God let something like this happen?" Anne
>Graham gave an extremely profound and insightful response. She said "I
>believe that God is deeply saddened by this, just as we are, but for years
>we've been telling God to get out of our schools, to get out of our
>government and to get out of our lives. And being the gentleman that He is,
>I believe that He has calmly backed out. How can we expect God to give us
>His blessing and His protection if we demand that He leave us alone?"
>Let's see, I think it started when Madeline Murray O'Hare (she was
>murdered,
>
>her body was found recently) complained she didn't want any prayer in our
>schools, and we said OK.
>Then, someone said you better not read the Bible in school... the Bible
>that says thou shalt not kill, thou shalt not steal, and love your neighbor
>as
>yourself. And we said, OK.
>
>Then, Dr. Benjamin Spock said we shouldn't spank our children when they
>misbehave because their little personalities would be warped and we might
>damage their self-esteem (Dr. Spock's son committed suicide) And we said,
>an
>
>expert should know what he's talking about so we said OK. Then, someone
>said teachers and principals better not discipline our children when they
>misbehave. And the school administrators said no faculty member in this
>school better touch a student when they misbehave because we don't want
>any bad publicity, and we surely don't want to be sued(There's big
>difference
>between disciplining and touching, beating, smacking, humiliating, kicking,
>etc.) And we said, OK.
>
>Then someone said, let's let our daughters have abortions if they want, and
>they won't even have to tell their parents. And we said, OK. Then some
>wise
>
>school board member said, since boys will be boys and they're going to do
>it anyway, let's give our sons all the condoms they want, so they can have
>all the fun they desire, and we won't have to tell their parents they got
>them
>at school. And we said, OK. Then some of our top elected officials said it
>doesn't matter what we do in private as long as we do our jobs. And
>agreeing
>
>with them, we said it doesn't matter to me what anyone, including the
>President, does in private as long as I have a job and the economy is good.
>
>And then the entertainment industry said, let's make TV shows and movies
>that promote profanity, violence, and illicit sex. And let's record music
>that encourages rape, drugs, murder, suicide, and satanic themes. And we
>said it's just entertainment, it has no adverse effect, and nobody takes it
>seriously anyway, so go right ahead.
>
>Now we're asking ourselves why our children have no conscience, why they
>don't know right from wrong, and why it doesn't bother them to kill
>strangers, their classmates, and themselves.
>
>Probably, if we think about it long and hard enough, we can figure it out.
>I think it has a great deal to do with "WE REAP WHAT WE SOW." Then there
>was
>
>the student who wrote "Dear God, Why didn't you save the little girl killed
>in her classroom? " Sincerely, Concerned Student... AND THE REPLY "Dear
>Concerned Student, I am not allowed in schools".
>Sincerely, God.
>
>Funny how simple it is for people to trash God and then wonder why the
>world's going to hell. Funny how we believe what the newspapers say, but
>question what the Bible says.
>Funny how everyone wants to go to heaven provided they do not have to
>believe, think, say, or do anything the Bible says. Funny how someone can
>say "I believe in God" but still follow Satan who, by the way, also
>"believes" in God.
>Funny how we are quick to judge but not to be judged. Funny how you can
>send a thousand 'jokes' through e-mail and they spread like wildfire, but
>when you start sending messages regarding the Lord, people think twice
>about sharing.
>
>Funny how the lewd, crude, vulgar and obscene pass freely through
>cyberspace, but the public discussion of God is suppressed in the school
>and workplace.
>Funny how someone can be so fired up for Christ on Sunday, but be an
>invisible Christian the rest of the week.
>Are you laughing yet??
>Funny how when you go to forward this message, you will not send it to many
>on your address list because you're not sure what they believe, or what
>they
>
>will think of you for sending it to them. Funny how I can be more worried
>about what other people think of me than what God thinks of me. Are you
>thinking yet???

Thumbs down Dios mio perdonalos no saben lo que dicen!!

I am sure that GOD is very sad and disappointed in how people blame him of every thing that goes around the world especially the wrong doing.
Every since the beguining of times, GOD have been proven him self to the creation instead of the other way around.
God is love the bible said, if GOD is love Why would he do something like that? Instead of asking if he did it, let's ask our self why he permite this things to happen. In order to get a good answer we have to examine the bible, this is the booklet for all of us, our manual if you whish.
WHY DOES GOD ALLOWED OR PERMIT PEOPLE TO SUFFERING?

WHY?

Every way you look, there is suffering. Some people bring it on themselves. They contract sexually transmitted diseases or experience the effects of drugs or alcohol abuse or of smoking. Or they may encounter health problems because of poor eating habits.
However, much suffering results from factors or events beyond the control of the average person: War-Ethnic violence-crime-poverty-famine-diseases. Something else that humans basically cannot control is suffering related to aging and death.
Like I said The bible assures us that "GOD" is LOVE in the book of John chapter 8, Why then, has a loving GOD allowed all this suffering to continue for so many Centuries?
When will he remedy the situation?
To answer such questions, we need to examine GOD's purpose with regard to humans.

1. The gift of Free Will
When GOD created the firs human, he produced more than just a body wit a brain. He did not created Adam and Eva to be mindless robot. He implanted in them the faculty of FREE WILL. I am sure that all of us appreciate this gift of free will, because..
a) We do not want our thought and action dictated to us with out ever having a choice in anything. The Million Dollar question is: Was this Gift of free will to be used with out limits?
For the common good, there must be boundaries. Of course, Free will was to be regulated by the rule of law. Otherwise, anarchy would result. See Book of 1 Peter 2:16.

2. Whose law?
Whose law was to determine the proper limits of freedom?
The answer to this question has to do with the fundamental reason WHY GOD has permitted suffering. Since GOD created us, he knows best what laws we need to obey for our own good and others. This the way the bible puts it in Isaiah 48:17 ( I Jehovah, I'm your GOD, the one teaching you to benefit your self, the one causing you to tread in the way in which you should talk")

So is evident, a vital point in here is that We were not created to be independent of God. He made us in such a way that our happiness or our success depend on obedience to this righteous law. Our way doesn't belong, it doesn't not belong to an who is walking even to direct his step said Jeremiah 10:23

Thus, the human family could never be successful in regulating it self without GOD's rulership. Trying to be independent from him, people would devise social, economic, political, and religious systems that would conflict with one another, and man would dominate man to his injury said Eclesiastes 8:9.

Since God gave Adam and Eve a perfect start such as perfect body, mind and a paradise garden home. If they had submitted to God's, they would have remained perfect and happy. But OHH NOOO they misused their free will. They thought that they could be successful independent of GOD. They stepped outside the boundaries of his law by their own free will.

And there it was, the Sovereignty of God was challenge by this disobedience. He could destroyed of course and started over with an other couple, but that would not have settle the "issue" of whose rulership is right and best for people. Granted time to develop their societies according to their own ideas, humans would demonstrate beyond any doubt whether rulership independent from GOD could ever be successful. If you don't belive me Check the thousand of year of history books!
But not to worry God will reverse avery thing to the beginning. HOW? Well read the Bible or you want me to read it for you?

May be this will STOP blaming GOD for everything!

Ronaf, I know where you are coming from and i think these new regulations are in total violation of the 1st ammendment. How come students can express violence and hatred against teachers and other students in the classroom but (because it's "freedom of speech") but they can't pray and express their "freedom of religion"? And everyone asks why God lets these terrible things happen, but I ask why has He waited soo long to correct us? Hebrews 12:6 "The Lord corrects whom He loves, and whips everyone He accepts as His son."

Thank you!
But One question Bro!

((((( IRRELEVANT?

1. That shows me, how much you know!

2. My lecture, as you put it, was for the comment Billy graham's dougter said, but you are so vane that you thought the comment was about you!

Now "The sarcastic part" you lost me there! You have any Idea what sarcastic means? Cause I can lecture you about it!

Just let me know!

It's all good, but Next time you bring a subject to this forum make sure you come with an open mind and with personnals facts! Knowledge is power my brother, read, investigate, not to impress any body but to teach others!
Every day we learn something new, let's not narrow our mentality. We owe it to eachother! Expand, the sky is the limit! That's my humble opinion!

Ciao!
