the declaration of Peurta cabezas' independence

As everyone probably already knows peurta cabezas (sorry for bad spelling) had declared independance in April. There has been a lot of talk in my family about whats next. since I was born in that town and my birth family, till before the hurricane came, was there I still hold a lot of appretiation and understanding. They felt exploited by the government and had every right to. But what I want to talk about is whats next? and what others think of this, and what the government might be doing I have been trying to keep up to date but Nicaragua isn't what media is talking about.
