International help may be useful in case it coming from the heart and dangerous in all other cases.
For example, the well known SU "international help for the fraternal Afghan people", or the present US "help" to the same poor people.
We can also remember poor Vietnameses that just lazy was not "helping" for them...

Big brothers will never help for free. For example, US govt destroy trucks, computers, clothes, food, etc, etc, etc but will not give to you. The only thing they can "give" is money, but would be wise refuse of this "gift".
SU now can not help even himself.

The wise government will be much more helpful than the thousand of "helps" and "helpers".
We can remember what a mistake was made by Salvador Alliende when he completely refused of the SU "help" and mistake made by FSLN when they take ALL the SU help, including all the "communictic" marasm.
Fidel Castro wisely take only that part of the SU "help" that was actually necessary for Cubans and refused of all other.
Some may say that Fidel make mistakes, maybe, but notice 2 things:
1. Cuba is still independent despite all the US/SU efforts.
2. Russians who well know Cubans always say they are very nice people. I had not heard such unaminity about any other nation, including even "the great nation" ;-)

So that is my opinion about international help.

The international collaboration is more honest and interesting thing. I feel India, Indonesia, all Islamic countries, sometime - Japan, and some European countries would be honest partners.

Of course corrupted govt will change all things to the worst. So be wise while elect your govt. Learn to detect who actually wants happyness to his people and who just play games.
And when he does or claims that or other thing, ask yourself - why he does it.
