Hello,
I am trying to find JOse Bravo and Cornelio Bravo. They are cousins and good friends of mine. Jose worked for a cigar manufacturer and Cornelio was an attorney but moved to Texas after the war. I worked in Amigos de Las Americas in 1975 in their town of Santo Tomas, Chontales~the most beautiful place on the planet.... I am also trying to find Nelly Bravo who would be elderly now but I think she might still be alive. I want to visit them in 2005 and miss them so much. If you have any information, could you please respond. Thanks! Bev from Tucson La Gringa Pura (Jose would call me that just to tease me!!!)

Cornelio Bravo
Hello Bev.....
I saw your posting regarding the Bravo family. I was also in Santo Tomas with the Amigos De Los Americas in the summer of 1975. I lived in the town bakery with Gustavo and Lillian Gonzales. They were wonderful people. I worried about their family as well after the war broke out. I read an article that said the war was heavy in Santo Thomas. It broke my heart. Especially after falling in love with the town and the people of Santo Tomas. Cornelio Bravo and I were good friends. He would call me often when he was in the United State and tell me about school. He wanted to be a lawyer. I am glad he did it. We lost touch after the war broke out as well. I have been looking for several friends myself. I have an address & phone number for a Cornelio Bravo in Waco, Tx. I have not yet tried to reach him, however, if what you said about texas is true this could be him. _____________________ Cornelio Bravo Waco, TX Tel.: (254) 755-7106 _____________________ Please email me if you have any additional information about anyone mentioned above. I also bet Cornelio will be able to put you in touch with Jose Bravo. I pray they are both well! K. Allums kaa_0101@hotmail.com |
