Gringo In Nicaragua

Hello everyone My name is Josh and Im 23 years old. After living in Miami for several years I met a Charming and Beautiful Nica Girl, which ended up breaking my heart. Well that is all history and through her family I have become intrigued with Nicaragua I will be traveling there for two weeks September 7th to the 21rst. I want to explore the country and learn as much as I can about the culture and History of the People.
Part of my plans include surfing and visiting colleges that may offer architectural classes. If there is anyone out in Nicaragua which would like to meet up for a day of fun or a even a drink let me know Also If anyone has any interesting places which I must see, Let me know.

congratulations, you're in for such a treat! Unfortunately I live here in the states but I can give you a few tips on where to go, defenetly San Juan del Sur, it's supposed to be surfers paradise so enjoy. Managua is the party town so hit the clubs there, I think they're all in the same block, if you're into nature and craft Masaya is your best bet, Miramar resort, is supposed to be cool place to spend a weekend--try it and also go to the Laguna de Apoyo I think it is by Masaya as well, it's a natural lagoon and you can eat and just enjoy the view. People are friendly, you'll have a good time and the only think advise I can give you is drink bottle water, believe me, I've been there. Have fun buddy, hopefully you'll meet another nica girl who won't break your heart.

Hey. I am a nicaraguan g/b. I am not in Nicaragua now, but I suggest you to go to ¨el Convento Hotel in León¨ go and see ¨the Cathedral of León¨ is one of the most beautiful buildings in the whole Latin America. Also you can go to ¨el Calvario church¨. León is a beutiful city and it´s really cheap. You´ll enjoy it for real. Write to me if you need more help. I can tell you about Managua also.
