I want to find my father

Hi, I signed up here because I heard that this would be a good site to find my father. I don't know anything about my father but his name and that he never came to see me when I was born. I am now 21 years old. So that means I've never seen him in my life. I think that it would make me feel better if I just close this chapter in my life. If I find him it would make me feel better and then I can move on with that part of my life.

Im sorry to hear about you and your father. Im 14 years old I have the same situation as you do. See when I was 6 months old my dad told my mom he didnt love me know more and she said all he thinked about was his ex g-friend. So my mom told me last year that he left me but find out this year she told me she left him. Every seens then I havent seen him. I only know his first and last name.

Your father hasn't been part of you life growing up and in not going to be part of adult life until you are ready to allow him so, You are an adult already, and with age come maturity and understanding. Developing self steem helps understand why your father left you and why your mother did not do her job in letting you know about his existence, Unless she doesn't know or doensn't care. I speak from personal experience I always dreamt my dad was someone, smart, articulate and polite. Que chasco! When I met him he wasn't at times I just regret meeting him and now i understant the reason he left us.
