Thursday, July 19, 5-8:30 - Miami Art Museum presents Jam at MAM, a monthly celebration of art, music, and food.
Tour the museum's current exhibition of fantastic sculptures by Martin Puryear. Mr. Puryear is widely recognized as one of the foremost sculputors working in the United States today. This installment of Jam at MAM features the music of Deskarga, a South Florida Cuban quintet, performing a danceable combination of Son Cubano and classic Salsa. Admission is $5 for nonmembers. The museum is located at 101 West Flagler Street in the Miami-Dade Cultural Center.
