6000 year old human footprints preserved in volcanic mud

6000 year old human footprints preserved in volcanic mud near the lake in Managua, Nicaragua. It is known that Nicaragua was inhabited by Paleo-Indians as far back as 6000 years.[1] The ancient footprints of Acahualinca confirms it along with other archaeological evidences, mainly ceramics and statues made of volcanic stone like the ones found on the island of Zapatera, Ibiza spain and petroglyphs found in Ometepe island.
