My lover is hot to trot to move to Nicaragua and I am considering it. Of course I will come visit at some point soon, but in the meantime, I am studying all I can about the place. He has been there a few times and says he is ready to move, I haven't been yet.

I currently live on a small island in the Caribbean, though I was born in the US, I have lived in the Caribbean siince the 80's.

He is interested in the Pacific side and the surf areas, so I am trying to learn all I can about the place, as I would consider moving there, as it was his plans before he met me over here, through a chance meeting at a wedding.

My Spanish is not up to par, though I could entertain a small child with my funny language. If we are moving there, then I plan to study all I can about Spanish before arriving so I won't be totally clueless.

Would LOVE to hear from ANYONE who lives in Nicaragua.

My email is

Talking TO THE GIRL WHO'S BOY IS HOT TO TROT TO NICA.

WHAT CAN I SAY? ENJOY? GET READY? BE VERY AFRAID? JUST KIDDING.... I CURRENTLY LIVE IN THE STATES BUT GO TO MY BELOVED NICARAGUA ANNUALY AND GURL, ITS WONDERFUL.... NICARAGUA IS WHERE THE WORLD JUST SLOWS DOWN...WHERE TIME IS OF NO ESSENCE AND THERE ARE NO SUCH THINGS AS "PLANS" OR "SCHEDULES". YOU LIVE LIFE EASY AND ENJOY YOUR SURROUNDINGS. THE WEATHER THOUGH DEVASTATINGLY UNBEARABLE SOMETIMES IS WHAT MAKES GOING TO THE BEACH AND ALL THE BEAUTIFUL AREAS UNFORGETTABLE. THE SAND AT SOME BEACHES IS AS SOFT AS SILK AND THE FOOD IS REAL! FORGET DIETS, FORGET LOW CARBS, HERE YOU EAT, AND YOU EAT LIKE A KING. FORGET MAKE-UP AND PERFUME (MAKES YOU A FEAST FOR THE MOSQUITOS) YOUR NATURAL BEAUTY ENHANCES AS THE SWEAT ON YOUR FACE MAKES YOU GLISTEN IN THE SUN. YOU SOON REALIZE THAT ACCESSORIES ARE JUST ANNOYING AND YOU LEARN THAT LIFE IS NOT ABOUT LOOKING GOOD, ITS A GREAT FEELING. JUST BEING ABLE TO COMPLETELY LET GO AND FORGET THE DETAILS. THE SIMPLENESS IN NICARAGUA OPENS YOUR EYES TO THE BIG PICTURE, THE THINGS THAT ONE SHOULD REALLY TAKE TIME IN NOTICING.... NICARAGUA IS JUST WONDERFUL... AND IF YOUR BOY SAW THIS TO MAKE HIM MOVE THERE THEN HE IS ONE OF THE LUCKY ONES....

Thanks for the info. When you come down each year, how long do you stay? What is it about the weather that is so bad?

I have been living in the Caribbean for many years, so am used to the laid back attitude.

Would love to hear more from you and others living there.

I live in nicaragua, I have to fly to the U.S. monthly for the work I do. I was originally born in the U.S. I can probably answer questions you might have.
