You don't need citizenship to work in Nicaragua. At the most you need residency which is easy to get. Get your Birth Certificate, Police record, passport copies and a medical report saying no aids or diseases and get them all certified or notarized and then have them legalized at the nicaraguan consulate and take these down with you and go to immmigration and your girlfriend can help you and you will have residency in no time. if you want go to the american School there and you can probably get a job as a teacher and get a decent wage for nicaragua.
good luck |

Jobs in Nicaragua
It is difficult for a non citizen to find a job unless you have a skill which a Nicaraguan can not fill. However in saying that you might get a teaching job. Visit http://www.ibw.com.ni, scroll down to Educación and click Ave Maria College of the Americas..San Marcos also click American Nicaraguan School (www.ans.edu.ni) Both of these schools teach in English. San Marcos is a college and ANS is K-12.
I know a private one-on-one Spanish teacher in San Juan del Sur who charges $4 an hour. A homestay will cost about $65 a week. Hope this helps. |
