It is said that only young girls
love with the heart
that women like me
ought to know better
and are smarter than that,
so, if that is a fact
why is it that I
can't be like all others
and love with my mind?
why is it,
that I love so strongly
with such passion?
could it be that
my punishment is
to be always at heart
young and in Love,
never to witness
the fruits of a carefully
and well put together
plan,
you know which one I am talking about
the one you promise to love and to share
forever and ever
no matter what...
I don't care, I am lucky to be as I am
to feel such emotions
to have no one and yet to love one so much
