I am a northamerican from California who now lives in Managua. I'm not sure if there is a lot of activity on this board but wanted to say hello to those of you reading this.

I started out my interest in Nicaragua through surfing the area near Tola, Rivas (Popoyo and Guasacate Beach), bought a property there, then met a wonderful girl, and now we are married. My life is completely different now in a good way and I owe it to Nicaragua and her people.

Yes the Nica girls are the best . . . absolutely! For me living here is great. The main thing is that it feels a lot more tranquilo than the States did for me, even though I live in big bad Managua jejeje.
