I intend to immigrate. Since you're only allowed one vehicle tax free every 5 years, it seems wise to bring a new one. Question: What type SUV is the most common there?
Are there dealers there to maintain it?

Sorry Estevo pero estas equivocado. Ningun carro is tax free no more, no matter how many years. You used to be able to get a car in tax free but not anymore since the law passed saying that only cars from 96-present pueden entrar y tambien tienes que pagar taxes a la duana no importa si tienes un menaje de casa..y si tu pregunta es cuanto?? Eso solo la aduana sabe. La unica excepcion es si es un camion, pick truck para trabajo y entonces tenes que presentar un documento de coperativa al consulado y ellos te lo autentica.
