General Nicaragua information in English

Howdy ... this is my first post on this board and I apologize for not being able to write in Spanish ... I only understand a little ... I am a pensionado and presently living in Costa Rica with my wife who is from Cuba and we are interested in the possibility of moving to Nicaragua ... I have made one trip there and it is a very beautiful country with very wonderful people ... I think nicer than here in Costa Rica and here they are great ... we are full of questions and would like to have more information about anything and everything before our next trip which will probably be the later part of October 2001 ... I feel that I can better trust the validity of any information on a board such as this and not have to deal with any "tourist trap friends" ... any help or contacts will be sincerely appreciated ...
