English to Spanish please!!

Can someone please translate this to spanish for me.
I'm trying to go to Nicaragua and stay with these people.
They only know a bit of english. And my spanish is awful.

It's been a long time since we all spoke. The great news is I'm coming in about a month. I bought the ticket already!!!.
,Last year there was a S.A.G. (Screen Actors Guild-the actor's union) strike which affected my work. And as you know I work in the commercial business.
So the time I wanted to travel last year was spent trying to get some work. I'm sorry I did not write sooner. I would like to stay with you guys if possible, otherwise it's no big deal, I'll get a hotel.
