Buscando para la familia Hooker de Bluefields/Looking for the Hooker family of Bluefi

Hello,
This message is for anyone with the last name Hooker from Bluefields, Nicaragua. If you are interested in getting to know some family members that you may not even know exist, please contact me. My great-grandmother Adelaide Hooker left Bluefields at the age of 12 with her older sister Urselin(this is my understanding but information may not be completely accurate). They both relocated to Limon, Costa Rica(this is where a large faction of the Hooker family now resides). Adelaide (or Mada Addy as she was commonly referred to) had five children, three males and two females. From oldest to youngest they were: Calmore, Marcella (commonly referred to as Ceta), Eugenio or Eugene (commonly referred to as Punci), Cecelio and Delceda Hooker. Eugenio or Punci was my grandfather and the rest were or still are my grand aunts and uncles. Most of these brothers and sisters begat children who begat more children and so we are a very large extended family. Those of us who don't reside in Limon, Costa Rica reside in some part of the United States, primarily New York City but we all keep in touch and we all travel back and forth alot. My mother, who was raised partially by my great-grandmother and father and partially by her aunt Delceda always told me what little she remembered mu great-grandmother telling her about Bluefields. She was told about the Miskitos of the caribbean coast and even taught some words and she was told about a Hooker that was a beisbol player and one that was in politics I think the name was Walderman Hooker or Waldo Hooker or something like that. The point is I am giving all of this information so that if anyone is even remotely interested in getting to know a few more Hookers or if some of what I am posting sounds even slightly familiar, someone would get in touch with me. I am very interested in learning more about my family history and am hoping that someone will be interested in finding out whatever happened to the other faction of their family. who is now living in Guatemala and is the manager

He was in the majors for a little while and
was released after having alcohol probles

Thanks for your response. You said that your wife is Willie Hooker's daughter. If she wants to respond to my e-mail and tell me what she knows about the Hooker family in Bluefields, then I would be more than happy to chat with her. If she doesn't then I can understand that as well because although there is a strong possibility that we share the same bloodline. We don't know one another. I hope that she would be interested though.
