Hello!
I am looking for friends who I have lost contact with in Nicaragua. I was in Amigos de las Americas in the 70s and was working in Santo Tomas, Chontales...then most beautiful place on the planet. I am trying to find Jose Bravo (Saborio) who was last working in a Cigar manufacturing area in the north. His auntie is Nellie and she lived in Santo Tomas. Ironically, I just found her picture on the web from 1999 when I typed in Santo Tomas!!! I am also looking for Jose's cousin Cornelio Bravo, also from Santo Tomas. He was an attorney and during the war, left for Texas. I miss them so much and have tried so hard to find them. I have had some success but lost contact when I moved and had a computer crash. I am hoping to go back in Sept of 2005 and would like to look them up. Thanks so much, Bev from Tucson, Az "La Gringa Pura" (Jose named me....)

Bev, Question did you work with Cornelio Bravo in Texas? if so where and with whom? I think I know who you are, Im just not sure and I don't want to give you valid information for security reasons.

please let me know if cornelio is alive and well. He was a lawyer in Managua and I last talked to him somewhere in Texas when i was in tucson back in 1990?.
he has a cousin jose who runs a cigar company and both of them grew up in santo tomas chontales. i am also trying to find his cousin as well. my husband and i want to go to nic to visit friends and dive off of corn island. thanks soooo much! bev aka la gringa pura

Cornelio Bravo and my uncle jose
greetings Beverly! this is so weird but Cornelio is my dad and as far as i know he is doing fine. ill ask him about you the next time i speak to him... one question what is your last name? its ok if you dont want to release it to me i understand there are weirdos out there... if any thing i know my dad will remember your nick name aka gringapura till then have a hapoy and safe new year
