Take some time and visit the area you are interested in. There are many properties for sale. The prices are much better if you do the leg work yourself. My last rip we looked over 6 homes and not one was over $30,000 USD. A broker or advisor was showing us one at $32,000 USD but after finding the true owner they took $12,000 USD. Six bed room, two bath large lard with fruit trees.
Find the Lawyer yourself as well. To get clear title runs about $300 USD and they will do all the search and papers for you. Non of this is very hard and you will have a good time on your visit. Stick to the Pacific side for property. Online help is ok but you will do better if you rid yourself of online business people who don't live in Nicaragua. You know those kids who stick to you at markets "translating" for your every purchase? LOL These are they same kids grown up living in the states, telling you nothing and asking a fee for work they don't do. As one told me "I love getting paid for doing nothing". Good luck, it's not hard to do and have fun. |
