Over the last few years, Nicaragua has been making major and positive improvements to its tourism industry, especially through the hard work and dedication shown by Mario Salinas, Minister of Tourism, and his team. Creating an infrastructure and activities to lure visitors to the country, has increased the number of tourists who come to Nicaragua to experience its culture, magnificent wildlife, splendid nature and the many noteworthy sites that lie scattered across the landscape. This year their labors have paid off, with the fifth Central American Travel Market selecting Nicaragua as its host.
