Torombolo Makes a Name

Reggaeton and hip hop singer, Torombolo, together with the other members of the group Camillion Entertainment Latino, has coined a new term to describe their own style of music, namely “Bayggeaton”. This new style is a blend of reggaeton with elements typical of (San Francisco) Bay Area music.

Increase in Nicaragua’s Tourism Options

In response to the growing number of tourists visiting Nicaragua, a number of new hotels have opened and tour operators have increased the number and choices of tour packages. In an interesting new initiative, Nicaragua’s Minister of Tourism, Mario Salinas, has signed an agreement with farmers in Nicaragua’s northern tobacco and coffee farming areas with the aim of developing the region’s tourism infrastructure.
